This paper presents a methodology developed for the numerical modelling of these pressures. This paper presents the model design criteria, approach methodology, and the input parameters required. Included in the input parameter discussion is a description of the laboratory methods used for determining the input parameters. The results from the modelling of two case study stopes are presented and these results are compared to in situ instrumentation installed in these test stopes.
