A geotechnical instrumentation system using wire extensometers was implemented to measure the ground movement. A weather station was installed to monitor the rainfall intensity. A datalogging system with capability to access the data remotely was adopted in this monitoring system. The data and monitoring results can be accessed via Web module iGEMS 2.0 (Geotesta 2013). The system is useful in transmitting the data as the key component in managing the risk to road users at this location.
