It analyses and demonstrates that the plastic viscosity of the paste slurry is influenced by changes of atmospheric pressure. An orthogonal experiment is designed using an inclined pipe and measuring the corresponding rheological parameters in Beijing and Lhasa, respectively. Results show that low atmospheric pressure has little effect on the yield stress of the paste slurry, but has certain impact on the plastic viscosity of the slurry.
