Abstract:
Nowadays, underground mining employs computational tools designed to facilitate integrated mine planning. These tools assist in obtaining the economic envelope and its optimization, subsidence simulation, mine design, construction sequence of workings, progress scheduling, and ultimately, production planning.
These tools are integrated and used by planners in various ways to develop mining plans. Consequently, there is a need for a methodology that can be applied to the creation of these plans.
Considering this need, this document aims to provide a methodology for developing mining plans, illustrated through a case study. The scope includes the parameters used in the case study where the described methodology is applied.
The main conclusion is the successful applicability of this methodology and its effectiveness in optimizing mining plans.
