Abstract:
This paper provides a discussion about the ultimate goal of a backfill system, and how a conventional quality assurance/quality control program supports the system in achieving this goal. The discussion then shifts to issues and limitations that a conventional system can face and provides some commentary on how the conventional system can be improved.
