Abstract:
A research study was conducted to investigate revegetation of tin-mined land using mixed native tree species on Bangka Island, Indonesia. Natural plant succession on these sites is very slow. Consequently, the objective of this study was to evaluate ten native tree species for their suitability, and develop protocols for the rapid restoration of sand tin tailings.
